Exclusive B&B Hotel with 9 rooms where furnishings and art pieces of different epochs mix atmospheric quality and warmth. Within the northern mountain range - Sierra Norte - of Seville's Province, a pleasant lodging to discover the traditional countryside of Andalusia, the beauty of its nature, people and traditions. Also there is an opportunity for tall people, almost all rooms have long-size beds, 2m., exept for the Habitación Azul, which has an antique bed of 1.80 x 1.35.
San Benito was built as a hermitage by the order of Calatrava by the end of the 15th century. Situated at the entrance of Cazalla de la Sierra, it originally served as a hospital for pilgrims on their way to Santiago.

Manuel Morales de Jódar acquired the property in 1997 jointly with Carlos Marañon, both initiating the restoration of the building. The many years it had been abandoned together with the different uses it was dedicated to after its demystification, made it a difficult and costly recuperation.

Elements of a family palace, that had been broken down years back, were used as building materials unifying the new and the primitive, resulting in a place where the original elements of different epochs put together the history of a new building. A building where the comfort and technology of today are combined with the quality of handcrafted arts of long ago.

The spirit of this building is a combination of comfort, beauty, history and technology.
